On July 16th, the 2025 World Youth Development Forum's Thematic Forum on Green Consumption and Sustainable Development was held in Suzhou. David Chua, Chief Executive Officer of National Youth Council Singapore, attended the forum as a guest in the youth dialogue session. China Youth Daily interviewed David Chua, conducting an in-depth discussion on his views on green consumption and the role of young people in leading green consumption and promoting sustainable development. David Chua stated that green consumption is an exciting field with many new trends, new scenarios and new formats not just for governments, but for businesses and the average people. He also believed that young people can bring new ideas, new energy and new perspectives to green consumption and sustainable development.
